3 Easy and Healthy Plant Based Breakfast Ideas

If your looking for a few healthy and nutritious plant based breakfast, that take just minutes, here are 3 of my favorites.

  1. Organic Rolled Oates with Blueberries and Cinnamon. Be sure to use organic sprouted plain rolled oats I use:

    Depending on you caloric needs you can use one or two servings. I use 1/2 cup. Cook according to package. Next add 1/2 to 1 cup of organic blueberries (can use fresh or frozen). Finally top it off with 1 tsp of organic ground cinnamon. Can add other fresh ingredients try topping with white chia seeds for omega 3’s or fresh slices of banana! Yum!

  2. Tofu Scramble- 1/4-1/2 package of extra firm organic tofu, 1/4- tsp of turmeric, 1/4-tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp onion powder, 1 tbs non-dairy milk. Heat non-stick pan crumble tofu and cook for around 4 minutes, add seasoning to taste, add milk at the end allowing liquid to evaporate, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes. Can add other herbs and spices to your liking. May add a pinch of salt to taste (Remember to always try to limit added salt) Serve with a slice of whole grain toast.

  3. Easy Cereal breakfast- Get cereal with no added sugar or additives. Store brand shredded wheat is usually one with the least additives. Serve with fresh berries and sugar free almond, oat, or soy milk.
